On the occasion of Shiv Jayanti, Seth Hirachand Mutha College organised an Ancient Coins Exhibition, to celebrate the rich
heritage and historical significance of the Maratha Empire. The event took place at Shivaji
chowk on 19/02/2025(Time;09.30am to 08.30 pm) and was attended by a large number of
history enthusiasts, scholars, and students. Mr.Kapil Patil (Former Minister of state Panchayati
Raj ), MR.Vishwanath Bhoir(MLA,Kalyan West),Dr.Indu Rani Jakhar(IAS officer,KDMC),Mr
SanjayJadhav(IPSofficer),Mr.AtulZende(SP),Mr.Kalyanji Ghete (API),Mr.PramodHindurao,Mr.M
aheshTapase,Mr.Jagannath Shinde,Mr.prakash Bhoir were Chief guests for this Program.
The exhibition featured a wide collection of rare and ancient coins, including those from the era
of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Coins from various dynasties, including the Maratha, Mughal,
and medieval Indian kingdoms ,Rajput,Britishers were displayed, providing a fascinating insight
into the economic and trade systems of the past.
The complete program was well managed and organised by committee members under the guidance of our chairman Shri Prakash Mutha sir, I/C principal Mrs Anuja Brahma,IQAC coordinator Mrs.Deepshikha Jain .
The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants and promised to host similar
events in the future to keep history alive for future generations.
